Sons + skirts = why not
Have any of my fellow skirted men extended their fashion freedom to their male children? If so at what age did you start skirting them? What types of skirts/dresses do you put them in? Do you restrict where they are allowed to wear them, home, school, shopping, etc...
I think that as a parent I'd want my son to not be bound by the traditional gender walls.

I think that I would probably dress my son as he wished, and not push him to adopt my style. It wouldn't work, anyway. Kids use fashion to rebel against their parents, not to emulate them. My son is grown, but I would've let him make his own choice about this.
Courage, conviction, nerve, verve, dash, panache, guts, nuts, balls, gall, élan, stones, whatever. Get some and get skirted.

Re: Sons + skirts = why not
Having seen me in skirts, publicly as well as privately, all his life, my son asked if he could wear a school uniform skirt when going to high school. We ordered one from the school shop, with mild interest and no opposition from one of the staff, but when we got it we realised that it was too short for him to be decent all the time, and didn't have enough hem to let it down, so the opportunity was lost. If the school uniform policy stipulated that hems had to be no more than 10cm above the floor when kneeling then we might have had an Australian, if not world, leader.
