Not Noticed
Not Noticed
This has been discussed in an older post, but it's down on the list by now. I had an interesting experience this weekend with someone not noticing that I had a kilt on. My wife and I went to the Native American Arts Festival in Indianapolis Saturday and I wore my utility kilt. I struck up a conversation with a guy I saw who was a runner by the race T-shirt he had on. In the course of the conversation about running and racing I mentioned that I am contemplating running a marathon in one of my kilts, and said that I had recently purchased the one I was wearing. Right at that moment, he looked down at my kilt and said, "Oh, I hadn't noticed that you were wearing one!" By that time,we had been talking for something like ten minutes.
As we have deduced before, folks really don't notice much, and largely don't care what we wear.

Re: Not Noticed
Tee shirt and denim skirt with quarter socks and trainers. Went to a coffee shop for some tea and a pastry, then drove to the station for petrol at the self serve. Went to my mother in law's cottage, and climbed onto the roof to fix her TV antenna. After that task was finished, I went of to a local fast food for lunch, and then motored to the building supply centre (Lowes), bought roofing shingles, nails, and a few other odds and ends. Went to a grocery store and did my week's worth of shopping for the house and drove home. Many people everywhere and not a turned head or a second glance.
People really do not care what we wear.
Cheers,
Steve

Re: Not Noticed
Whether they don't notice or don't care makes little difference. Just go ahead and wear what you want.
Courage, conviction, nerve, verve, dash, panache, guts, nuts, balls, gall, élan, stones, whatever. Get some and get skirted.
