I wear a waistcoat almost all the time with a skirt, dress or kilt and I like the look. I wear over a t-shirt unbuttoned. I am going to buy a t-shirt midi and maxi dress and pair a waistcoat with that.

With the EXTREME hot weather in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas (highs around 38 deg C/100 deg F) I find slightly above the knee length dress is really comfortable. I like to wear ones with floral patterns when I'm out in public, along with sandals with painted toenails. Since I have a bust I don't have problems with bagging in the chest area. Any kind of jacket or vest (waistcoat) would be too warm.

Re: Mixed Metals Jewelry

I recall a fashion rule that metals of different pieces should match. However, with careful thought it may be possible to achieve style by mixing.

Looking at the images, note the use of gold to accent a silver piece.

I am quite enjoying Grok's Style posts. Each one makes you think. I now realise that I have been rocking the dual metal all along, since for over 30 years I have had a gold metal ring on my finger while silver coloured earrings, watches and Leatherman tread on my wrists. Thank you Grok.
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

I think I have covered most of those, maybe a bit thin on dresses. Any others you can think of?
Moon Shadow started a thread about eye wear.

Another possibility would be for men who grow their hair long-what do you wear to keep it under control?

One topic that I think would be interesting-hats with skirts.

Scroll down. I was somewhat surprised by the man with the white bag.

Consider men with different body types. There may be a few helpful hints.

On the other hand, there is similar material on line regarding womens body types. Which might also offer a few helpful hints. An analysis of womens body types may explore other possibilities, such as skirted rigs.

Re: Peacock tail

A favorite is a scarlet (original) Macabi. Long skirt, with a large surface area in a bright, bold color. Which I have, of course, worn out and about.

Disconnect in my brain. Didn't really think how this skirt might appear to others. I think because, growing up, what I wore below the waist was always dull, at best, in appearance. Typical drab male trousers.

The rest of what I'm wearing might be fairly bland, but It's now like I have this brilliant peacock tail.

The skirt can, visually, become the focal point of your rig.

When I was in DFW last month I just wore a mini skirt the whole time… definitely humid/hot down there vs what we have here in the panhandle.

I find it interesting that as you go down the page, some of the section headings refer to the items as "women's," and some of them do not, such as women's purses or women's flip flops vs. just heels or m
Overall, I think the article is positive and tries to leave the crossdressing label behind. The sooner we can get to the point where clothing and style items lose their gender-biased descriptions, the sooner it will be acceptable for men to go out comfortably dressed or styled however they wish.
