Saturday night Bingo in my brand new ankle length green peasant skirt with brand new yellow and brand new navy blue ankle length underskirts, an extra long new teal long sleeve T-shirt, a fleece sweater, chocolate brown tights and my cowboy boots (my only warm shoes). It was bitter bitter cold here tonight, all the way down to 50F..ewww It was worth it tho, I won 2 jackpots for a total of $125.00 with a $22.00 investment for the night. :laff: :thewave:

Didn't really skirt much today... Spent most of my day in a pair of cut-off shorts, t-shirt, fleece sweatshirt, with kneesox and running shoes. Was helping a friend work on an old '48 GMC Greyhound bus that he owns.

I did swap the cut-offs for the black box-pleat mini for the drive home, though.

Last night it was a black calf-length cotton skirt, deep red dress shirt, off-white waistcoat, black cable-knit tights (it was cold here -- 22 F), and black dress shoes.

I haven't made up my mind about today -- there are *so* many choices! So, I'm still in my PJs doing the laundry. And just got through re-hanging a ceiling lamp in the kitchen following getting the ceiling replaced.

It's turned chilly here, plus I'm slowly recovering from something that the doctors can't identify but was bad enough to send me to the emergency room a week ago, so I've been dressing for warmth, both at home and when I go out. My main outfit is a turtleneck over a T-shirt, with a wool vest, my (home-made) 35" nylon skirt with a fleece lining and a cotton petticoat and sometimes a fleece petticoat as well, thick socks, and sometimes microfiber tights as well. Plus a hip-length winter parka. Sort of like what I wear skiing, except skirted instead of trousered.

AMM, hope you get better soon. It's pretty nippy here as well, so I can only imagine what It's like in Westchester. I use a home made cough remedy comprised of honey, lemon juice, and Jack Daniels. It guarantees a good night's sleep! :)

Wore a heather gray t-shirt, the denim skirt in the last batch of photos I took, a pair of the most comfortable knee-high socks I've ever worn (see here: http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/s ... D_1345.php - the caviar color, very toasty, and very soft on the inside), and a pair of hiking boots. Dropped off a couple letters @ the Duvall post office, then headed over to Woodinville (about 15 miles away - directly north of Redmond), visited Costco for some gas ($1.899 a gallon finally), hit the hardware store for some bolts, washers, and nuts for a traffic signal restoration project that I've going on, then visited Petsmart for cat food. On the way home, dropped by the grocery store for some items.

Currently have everything but the denim skirt and the hiking boots on. Swapped the skirt for the black pleated skirt shown @ the bottom of my pics & looks thread, and threw on a pair of trail running shoes.

Short sleeve khaki closed front work shirt tucked into cream knee length cargo skirt very like Milfmogs. ( From Salvation Army Thrift Store in Toowoomba.) Feet clad in sandals. Comfy and happy with S.O. by my side!

Went to Wilmington last night with family for dinner, a stroll around the shops downtown, and to see the Christmas Flotilla at Carolina Beach. Wore Columbia Titanium skirt, dark green knee length, gray-green ribbed tights, brown Bastaad clogs, black t shirt, gray hoodie pullover. A few looks, no comments.

Afew weeks ago I spent the whole day touring New York city in the same skirt and nearly the same outfit. Had a great time.

Too busy travelling to take any photos, but on my journey back South for the final part of my course, I had on my green tartan (Ross, hunting) kilt, hose, flashes, my usual blue fleece jacket while I travelled from Cove to Fareham using: my car, a ferry, a train, a bus, an airport, a plane, another airport and finally my other car.
Weather dry, blue and breezy in Scotland, greyer in the South of England. Cold (below freezing in Scotland and only slightly warmer here. Knees did feel the cold but the kilt and hose kept everything else reasonably warm.
No comments or looks from anybody, not even down South. Oh, almost forgot that the (female) bus driver said I would travel free because of the kilt! She was joking, I had a ticket anyway!
A good journey, unlike the 280 mile drive yesterday down winding Scottish roads in below freezing temperatures at night with windscreen washers which were failing, all to the accompaniment of the radio traffic advisor warning of problems on the road ahead due to ice. Under those conditions I do not like the A82. Still I made it, stressed, tired, but intact. Because of the weather warnings and snow near Thurso I didn't even stop long enough to change into something comfortable.
And now, back in the hotel, still kilted, waiting for the restaurant so I can have dinner.
I am the God of Hellfire! and I bring you truffles!

Gold flannel shirt, brown stretch cord Eddie Bauer calf-length brown skirt, tights and fleece-lined boots. With a coat, since the temp was -1 F, with drops to -20 tonight. I am amazed at how warm a long skirt, tights and boots are. That kind of outfit puts my pants and shoes to shame! And a lot more stylish, to my eye at least.
