Re: Rock wears a skirt
Rocks comment "I wore a skirt to the Met Gala because the most masculine men wear skirts." is not far from the truth. It is more like "I wore a skirt to the Met Gala so I would be noticed out of all the standard men in DJs".
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

He is on record into empowering women.

I hope these links gives a better outtake about Dwayne Johnson.
I believe his skirt also meant what he has said before about empowering women. Consider all the women made statements that was nothing less giving him thumbs down, while he was given them thumbs up.

Same popped up on my feed, I commented:
A man can decide what being a man means to him. On that basis he can wear what he wants - including a skirt.

Re: Rock wears a skirt
I find it ridiculous the number of people getting worked up over his use of the word skirt. They're all like "it's kilts", in a conversation referring to multiple versions worn by both genders. Kilt is supposed to refer to a specific type, skirts is a generic term. Especially given it's a foreign language translation that doesn't use either word. Freakout over a translation.
