I went for an eye exam yesterday, and, I'm happy to report that I still can see! HOORAY! However, my prescription changed, so I'll be getting new glasses soon. I'm okay with that as I like wearing glasses since they make me look smarter than I really am! HA! Let's have some fun and use this thread to share pictures and promote the sheer awesomeness that comes from wearing that extra pair of eyes!

Having detailed my journey from 50 years of glasses wearing to none viewtopic.php?t=25639 my opinion of glasses has changed from things I need to see, to things I choose to wear for style or work reasons.

So my glasses have now changed from essential to see, with builtin sun protection, to fun sunglasses as needed for sun and style. I also have glasses to protect my eyes when using power tools, which now I don't have normal glasses, I am a lot more careful with.

Your new glasses look good, but I am sure you are smart with or without your glasses.....You wear skirts so you are certainly smart.

Glasses do create some images, dramatic, fun, silly, studious and nonchalant -- a scad of images like skirts can too. I'm a newbie (only about 40 years, mostly for reading; whereas my wife had Mouse's experience, glasses from childhood until cataract surgery and then nada -- did she ever look strange to me, but hey I legitimately had another woman in my life! I recall a woman at a scavenger hunt in Yellowknife many ions ago, wearing a pair of "librarian" glasses, and presenting a banana in a very erotic manner --- glasses sure can create some images! Since this is a SKIRT dominant site, here is my "selfie" (sorry Steve) but at least my skirt of the day is present too!

I went to my eye doctor this week, not to get new eye glasses, but to confirm that I'm legally blind in the right eye. Fours ago she inform me that I was going blind when she made me new pair eye glasses at that time. Lost my right eye sight beginning this year. It's matter of time before I lose my eye sight in the left eye.
Every morning I wakeup and still have vision in my left eye, I found myself being bless.

Earlier this year I had an eye test which is done on NHS every two years. The good news is that my eyes are healthy. The bad news is that my short sightedness has got slightly worse in one eye so I needed a new prescription in glasses.

I chose a lovely pair of purple framed glasses from the female aisle of my opticians. Even though I’m in my 50s I still don’t need glasses for reading as I can still read with my naked eyes but I need glasses for long distance like watching tv and going out but I wear glasses most of the time. The only time I take them off is when I’m reading or doing close up work.

Anyway, I mentioned my purple framed glasses on one of my threads on the skirtcafe forum.
