Just some commentary on Star Trek's "dress" uniform for men, featuring Captain Picard. Was the first version a dress, or really just a tunic? I also through they had a more skirt-like uniform at some point - or was this the one?

The first few resemble an Indian kurta, the second from the left in the first link looks the most visually proportionate to me.

The first three look to be of suitable length that they could be considered as dresses (worn with tights, maybe). The last two just look like normal tops to me.
