Buying freedom

Hi guys, again if like to thank all members of this group because since finding this group I have felt that i have been given an "of course men can wear skirts" and I've run with this. It's encouraging to have people who think like me and I like you.
Since I've joined this group I've felt I've now got the permission to be myself and buy what I want, so far since joining this group I've bought 3 denim skirts(varying lengths) a pleated knee length black skirt and four the first time in my life I've bought tights, or for our American friends pantyhose.
My confidence is building day on day. Bizarrely, what i thought would happen hadn't happened which was too be ridiculed and potentially harmed. The only incident I have had is passing a house which was being renovated where a builder cried out " alright darling " i replied you must be gay because I'm not. The look on his face was priceless as his mates laughed at him, not me.
I just thought I'd update the group and show you my progress, again thank you all for giving me confidence and hope.

Just remember that you gave yourself that "permission", you just had to see that the freedom was yours all along.
Tights, handbags, hats, jeweller, the accessories are as habit forming as the clothes.
All part of the fun all men can have but don't know it.

I too have been encouraged to wear skirts by this site, and wear them a lot. Second looks are about the only reaction I get. I am sure there are the little schoolgirl comments behind my back. I love my skirts and they are much more comfortable than pants or shorts. They may laugh at me because I am different but, I laugh at them because they are all the same.

I take it one step further. I ALWAYS wear dresses. Just think, I don't have a belt around my waist and I never have to match my top with my bottom. I have the necessary chest mounds to fill out the chest area of my dresses. They are so comfortable, I wonder why more people, particularly women, don't wear them.

Regarding dresses I've been wondering if medieval style 'tunics' won't end up coming back because they are very comfortable, and basically a dress designed for a male body. They are not hard to make. Kimono are also technically similar but could bring up cultural appropriation arguments.

Finding off the shelf dresses today that work with male body proportions is going to be hard, as typical male and female torsos are shaped notably differently. Even if something fits, they tend to look odd due to visual proportional imbalance, or visual designs emphasising breasts which most men don't have.

I have a few of the Time and Tru Women's Sleeveless Knit Swing Dress from Walmart.
They are VERY comfortable and have 2 in-seam side pockets - that are deep.
If you don't mind a 'crew' neckline, these are fabulous. They are tunic-like as they
come just above my knee. (I'm 6' 2") No 'built-in' bust line, just a normal T-Shirt fit.

They don't shrink after washing

They're on clearance for $9.98 so, get 'em while you can
