Re: Three C's
There’s a fourth: Correct punctuation.
No apostrophe in “Cs”….
Other than that, I agree completely.

Ray,

In any case, this carries a powerful message,
"To remain timid or become adventurous" - that decision is entirely up to you.

Re: Three C's
When I saw the topic title I thought it was referring to three problematic leaders of nations.
I argue that there should be an apostrophy in C's as they are possessive of the terms they represent and are not just the letter C.

Re: Three C's
The Cs are plural (i.e. there are three of them)in this context and use of an apostrophe is incorrect.

Re: Three C's
What about the term 1960's meaning 1960 to 1969, not 1960 many times.

Re: Three C's
Again, it is in that context not a possessive and should not have an apostrophe. The correct form is 1960s. It is one of the more common mistakes.

Re: Three C's
I think an apostrophe for plurals of single capital letters is now regarded as acceptable variation. It carries over from lower-case use, as in "mind your p's and q's", which is hard to read correctly without the apostrophes.

Noted concept(or tangent) by(or from) post responses.
Quibbling about "grammar" instead of "content".
Is this what Skirt Cafe' has reduced itself too

Err, “to”, not “too”
Re: Three C's
I think this joke thread has got more posts than many, so I wouldn't gripe about members posting stuff, which is quite funny in a pedant sort of way...

Mouse,
If people thought this was a joke, I'm sorry to disappoint you. The original post
was not meant as 'A Joke' but serious contemplation about our actions/in-actions.
Be safe and stay as we are or try something new and find we like it.
We won't know until we try.
Some people feel like they must criticize everything they see/read/hear/touch.
They stop at understanding the meaning of what they saw/read/heard/touched.
Several responses are really disappointing

I am sorry Uncle Al that I took it as a joke, I didn’t mean any disrespect.
I was just trying to point out that any engagement is good in a thread. There is nothing worse than starting a new thread and getting no replies. IMHO.

In my skirting life, my Choice was to bug my wife until I got the OK to buy a utility kilt.
My Chance was Covid where I wore and made skirts the whole time, leading to me returning to work in a skirt.
My Change is that I am now happy in my life where I get to play and work in a skirt.
