One of those Frankenkilt had a tag on it of £440 !
For that amount I could buy 4 tanks or 8 SportKilts
and have money left over for the flashes.
Still trying to find someone to make one of these:
White Dress Stewart tartan with red base background.
Was available on Ebay about year and half ago.
Pakistani merchant went out of business with an
unfavorable feedback record probably because
the crooked angle of the tartan pattern matched
his crooked business.
An attention getting kilt (skirt) not everyone's forte !
And yes the female side wears looks better in it but
that is not holding me back - just trying to find a
one off copy without all the custom pricing - the S & H
from Pakistan is more than the cost of the kilt.

Those frankenkilts are a hideous mess.
The red and tartan one is much better, a pity they are no longer available.
