thanks for the tip but I tend not to buy skirts with front splits, just my preference. I'm sure others will find it right for them. I like the colour though!

That's a good price - they are £30 online!

Front splits are not my forte either but maybe if I saw one in the sale for a fiver I might be tempted as I could sew the front slit up. The only skirt that has cost me more than a fiver is a real kilt that MOH bought for me and I haven't had the occasion to wear it for yet.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

I'm careful with front slits also, but they're less nervy with tights.

Ditto the tights with a front slit. I LIKE the deep pockets. Looks like stuff wouldn't fall out so easily whist seated. Good find!

Good colour and practical pockets. If I found one for $5 at a charity shop, I would just cut it off above the front slit (I don't mind the frayed look) but at £20 ..... may be not.

Just posted to show what was available, that's all. Mine has no slits, but not bothered either way. IT IS A SKIRT.
I have bought from charity shops in the past, but most stuff looks decidedly worn. I wait until shops have sales now- then I can get unworn new stuff at charity prices. My older stuff that is too small/big/unwanted then goes to charity shops
