This is good reasoning for men to wear skirts

His point about working on roofs was particularly relevant to me, as I have just finished re-battening the roofing felt on two of my sheds. I wore a medium-length denim skirt and it was perfectly safe and comfortable to work in - what's more, it attracted no comments whatsoever from neighbours or passers-by.melsav wrote:http://davids11548.hubpages.com/hub/Mis ... nine-atire

There is no record of Jesus saying anything of the kind. The apocryphal "Gospel of Thomas" has Jesus sayingJesus said that he came to fulfill the old law not to destroy it. But at the same time he gave us other laws to follow. One was that to be modest in the eyes of the Father, one " Must be covered from Neck to Knee".
That probably refers to the standard naked baptism, but was written later than the canonical gospels."When you strip naked without being ashamed, and take your garments and put them under your feet like little children and tread upon them, then [you] will see the Son of the Living One, and you will not be afraid."

That's stellar that someone else noticed and spoke up.STEVIE wrote:In the past few months I have had a bad episode which resulted in being trousered for some time.
A well intentioned comment from a colleague was that I looked good either way.
I just explained that it was not my preferred mode.
I will never forget that she went out of her way to say how glad she was to see me back to "normal".
For me, it's not reasoning, it is normal to be in a skirt.
It just took someone else to point it out.
Best reason ever.RichardA wrote:The only reason I need to wear a kilt or skirt is - I like too.
??? That's part of the whole experience for me!! (when appropriate depending on thinness of fabric, length, etc.)And don't worry ladies, most men wouldn't be caught dead without underwear.
Exactly! Unless your only reason for wearing a skirt is projecting a certain look, it completely negates the superb comfort and ventilation to go wearing underwear underneath. As for what other people think, why should it matter to them what you are or aren't wearing underneath, just to long as you aren't lifting your skirt to show them?skirtingtheissue wrote:it says...???
