Moving along - I think we can skip the pat down on this one !

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

I have never had any problem going through Security, Kilted (no pin) or skirted They use the metal detector (It looks like a degausing coil) and wave it over the offending
area rather than patting down the legs of those about to sit in discomfort for 2-4 hours

I've been through airport security a few times as well - all with no problems. 8)

It was more interesting for me as I have a pacemaker and am not permitted to go through the security scanner - so each time I have to have a "pat-down" or check over with that coil-like device.

Had a cheery smile from the fellow doing the checking out though... :o

Oh I got harrassed when my underwire bra set off the metal detector. I offerred to strip but they politely declined.
Moving along - I think we can skip the pat down on this one
Givem a break RM, us old guys just look at cartoons like that as an unrealistic joke. Younger men, having not seen much of that get all horny thinking about it.

I play a lot of poker with young men just experiencing "life" for the first time and everything is "new" to them..Sooner or later every young man realizes that "NEW' WAY of doing or experiencing something is actually a well beaten path. Life, every golden minute of it is part of the experience of growing old. Later, when you're in your 60's or more and tell things to young'ns, they accept the info with a completely "new" outlook and thank you for the "new???" information....

I've gone through airport security a few times with my Utilikilt and have only had 1 experience out of the ordinary. One of the TSA workers smiled and said, "If you take your belt off, will that thing fall down?" I just smiled back and said, "Yes, it's a little loose but I'll hold it up!" Which I did. Unfortunately, I have "grown" into it a little... :(

Hi,
I have been through security with a long, navy colored, fleece skirt on two occasions. The first time, they pulled me aside and had me stand in a position like the yoga warrior position, then proceeded to "wand" me. The second time, no one batted any eye -- just walked through the old-fashioned metal detector arch.
