Was grocery shopping at Walmart and passed through the clothing section. Saw this on a rack, with no tags.
Checked with a clerk stocking jeans. She found the UPC code on a manufacturers tag, looked it up for me.
It was on clearance for $11.00 which I thought was great. I normally wear a 2X/2XL and this was an XL.
I thought it might be tight but it fits really well. Since temperatures are creeping back up, the coolness
it provides is great



I bought the last one. It is now out-of-stock

Update: I did a search for dresses on Walmart.com and had over 3,000+ results.
Narrowed down the search to size, and brands that I KNOW will fit.

So, being under $6.00 each, I purchased 2 of each color

They fit like a very long T-Shirt/Undershirt. Lighter weight than cotton but VERY soft.
Day or Night(sleep) wear, at 6' 2", this hits about mid-calf or 4+ inches below my knees.
Just wish they had side-seam pockets

SO - Check your favorite retailer and their clearance section.
You'll find bargains galore, to fit any budget. Some 'styles' may
be a little old, but, well worth adding to your "collection".

I like the blue. The neck line is fine as well, as you say, similar to a standard T-shirt.

The blue is a nice colour and doesn't look like it's designed to fit round women's curves. But the model is really off-putting! Is she an AI creation or a real woman altered in unsettling ways? Exactly identical in the two pictures. I always distrust vendors who do that. Makes me suspect that I'm not really looking at a photo of the garment.

The version in blue is my favorite as well. I find it nice and bright.

You've missed my point, Uncle Al. My point is not to do with the model herself, it's about the images of her. There's something off about them, she's been digitally manipulated into Uncanny Valley. And those two images of her are 100% identical: the pose, the facial expression, the hair ... everything.

When vendors do that, it makes me distrust the entire image. Sometimes you can find a garment in more than one colour and literally the only difference between the pictures is the colour of the clothing. There's only one real picture (if that) and the rest is photoshop. So are you looking at an actual picture of the actual item, or is it fakery? The deceit puts me off.

I'm with you skirtyscot, I see on a lot of websites and it's an instant identifier that something is amiss.

It does not useless that much extra time to have the model swap the physical garment and take new pictures with the different colours, it probably takes more time to Photoshop it on fact.

I expect they've got it automated with AI. "Make dress blue" will do it.

Professional photographers have been "touching up" model photographs for years but it used to be to remove blemishes etc. however these days since AI this has now got beyond all sense of realism and tbh I don't trust a lot of what I see on the internet anymore.

Many of the garments I see for sale with designs on have clearly been photographed separately and then had a design photoshopped on top. This is obvious in the more blatant examples because the design does not follow the shape of the garment.

That's just blatant amateurism and really should not happen in the professional sphere. That's the sort of stuff that belongs in entry-level darkroom technique (which clearly is not being taught any longer). Chalk it up to the general dumbing-down of the population.

For ephemera like graphic and band t-shirts, a flat folded shot is more than good enough and doesn't have blatant distortion in it. The human eye is astonishingly good at identifying BS like that.
