I meant political, but given the gusts forecast for around the Great Lakes today? Either one.

I've bought many a skirt I'm too afraid. The reasons for not wearing them vary, but are all along the lines of "too flashy" "too bright" "too out there". I have a few that are bodycon which I've been meaning to add panels to the sides to make them looser.

One of the "too flashy" examples (with bat skirt hikes!) that I recently mustered up the courage to wear:

I recently got a few skirts from Svaha because they had a good sale and they look fun/geeky. They're longer than what I usually wear and also much more colorful/playful. I haven't worn them out and about yet, but I want to. I'm also not sure if they'll pass the wife approval test. We'll see. I worry that anything too flowy or long comes off as too femme. (not that there's anything wrong with that, just my personal man box I guess)
