Found the William and Lauren website.
I only found one (1) skirt and it held an eye-watering price tag.

The estimate I saw was $300 for a custom skirt.

Given the cost of fabric, and the amount of time it takes to measure the person, make a pattern, buy the fabric, cut the fabric, and sew the garment, this price is very fair. People need to be paid and labour costs in the UK / US add up very quickly,

If you tried learning how to sew one yourself, then you'd quickly understand.

I understand that traditional kilts can be quite expensive.

If a man has a strong interest in a particular design-which is otherwise unavailable-and is willing to pay a premium, I can imagine a man paying for a single example.

I'm thinking of trying this place soon, they make them custom to your measurements: https://seamsfriendly.com/collections/skirts
My waist/hip ratio is definitely not that same as a typical woman.

It will be interesting to see how the custom fitted skirt works on you. Keep us posted and pictures of the result would be a bonus.
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

Looking at the website I was pleasantly surprised at the pricing for something that is supposedly custom made and free delivery too (except customs duty) plus they even provide a contact number which suggests the company is based in India so hopefully prices will be similar wherever you are.
As Mouse says we'd love to know how you get on with it.

They are based in India. I think they also have an Etsy shop by the same name. Once I figure out what the tariffs might be (if they don't keep getting changed on a weekly basis) I'm going to order a few skirts and will report back here.
