Glad you mentioned that -- what a collection! There are some I missed first time round.
...will find that I'm not white..
About the same colour as me -- tan -- except that you are lucky enough to have kept your youthful hair colour which I lost long ago, alas.

Can't remember meeting many white men; most of them are pink or even red in the north, and tan in southern Europe. Those that call themselves white must be under the delusion they are morally better than their neighbours (cf "white lie", "white American" etc, as opposed to "black market", "black thoughts").

You forgot a rather famous black man...ok, strictly speaking, he's just black the same way Tiger Woods, Barack Obama, and even Bob Marley are/were....that is to say, PART black, but pigmentation leads to many people just assuming "oh, he's black".......this guy I can find pictures of in MUGs quite easily.

Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rock, AKA Seiuli Dwayne Johnson. Ok, it's because the OTHER half of him is from a culture that is MUG-friendly....Samoa! http://whitepa1972.tripod.com/samoa_mo_ ... n-siva?i=4 is a good picture of him in traditional attire!

I am a black man living in Minnesota. I started making utility kilts over a year ago. I've just started making sarongs and skirts and wearing them out to the bars or theater. Everyone loves them and compliments me on my style and balls to wear them! I wore my long herring bone skirt with army boots to the grocery store and Walmart and no one said a word if they even noticed at all. If I can figure out how to resize my photos, I will post some for you guys! Let's start a revolution...let's change the world one kilt/skirt at a time!

That's a great collection of utility and cargo kilts, Sir! I am curious how long it takes you to complete such a kilt.
They really look great on you and perhaps you should start-up a kilt factory. Your products could easely compete with Utilikilts, Amerikilts, Freedom Kilts and others. Price depending, of course!

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Jan and Martin!
When I started making kilts, I knew a little about sewing but hadn't sewn anything in about 20yrs. So, it was a big undertaking for me to figure out my machine and make these creations. I sold some on ebay last year and then kinda got away from it awhile. I am now getting back into it and we'll see how things develop. When I sold them one bay, they sold for $150. I didn't make them so often that I became very fast making them but once I do, it should take about 4 hrs to make a utility kilt. When I stopped making them I had hired a seamstress to help me because I was busy with my other job and really, sewing is not my forte. Lol. But I still enjoy the creation process. So, If the business takes off, I will design the kilts and skirts and hire someone else to do the sewing which will of course increase production time.

This ^^ I love some of the detailing on the kilts, like the door latches and key ring hoops on pockets! :)

Thanks guys! Yeah, I thought it would be an interesting detail and conversation starter to have the door latch...very masculine feel to it. That's kinda been my signature on most of my kilts as well as a seatbelt for a belt.

Some already do, and others seem interested.

A couple of years ago the wife and I were in Washington, D.C. and were touring the Smithsonian museums. The first one we walked into the guard was a black guy. He stepped out from behind his desk and said, "Dude. That's tight! I wish I could pull that off". So I said, "What's holding you back? You da man, go for it".

Over on a High heels board I tend to read periodically ( http://www.hhplace.org ), there is a thread entitled "The Jaunts of JeffB".
On September 18th, he posted statistics on his first 125 "jaunts". Roughly 60% were skirted.
A quick check showed him in skirted on his #134th and #137th jaunts (pages 112 and 114 on his jaunts thread).
Well, I'm still jaunting over at HHPlace. Sorry to have been incommunicado here for so long as life kept me busy and all, and I've been spending more time at HHP. As of this writing, I'm still wearing skirts, openly and proudly, of the now 175 jaunts I've gone on, 101 have been in skirts, or 58 percent, however, I wear high heeled shoes and boots with my outfits, something I know is pretty much taboo around here, but the notion of wearing boring and cloddish men's shoes with my skirts has been and remains a serious non-starter for me. And yes, I carry handbags when I go out and about as putting my stuff in pockets is gauche. I'm sure some here probably consider me as being a crossdresser, but I don't feel that way, I see myself as a fashion freestyler, nothing more, nothing less. Also, I don't think of myself as a "pioneer", I simply do what I enjoy, plain and simple.

Sounds like a perfect attitude to me. Be yourself and be happy; what more could anyone ask of you?

Have fun,
