Well, lets see I do believe that all of my skirts have slit's in them. Witch I don't mind one bit. Most of the skirts with slits are in the back. I have three of them like this A kaki one, a denum one, and a suit style skirts. I have 2 denum skirts that have slits in the front, witch I don't mind at all, I actually like showing a little leg once and awhile when sitting. :laff: I do have nice legs for a man or so I have been told. I think the thing that worries most men when wearing this type of skirt is showing off the twig and giggle beeries. When wearing these types you have to make sure you sit with your legs eather crossed or closed, Sound funny saying that! :D My other ones have slits on the side's witch you don't even really notice. When I get a chance I will post some pic's of the skirts on my fliker page. All of my skirts are knee length or just at the knees. I do have one that stops at the mid thigh. I kind of took this one over from my wife when she never wore it. Almost all of my skirts a of some sort of denum since that is what I wear the most of jeans and tshirts.

Given a choice I prefer slits to be up the side, but no higher than the top of the knee.

Long skirts often need slits. I prefer either side or back slits for the most part with ankle-length skirts. I have couple of just-above the knee skirts that have buttons down the front, and since the buttons end a couple of inches above the hem, for all intents and purposes it functions as a slit. It is fun wearing these skirts, but one has to keep modesty in mind when doing so! My legs are kind of on the skinny side, but that hasn't stopped me. You only go around once, may as well enjoy it!

Ian, I have found that "chambray" denim is far more comfortable than either trouser or stone washed quality denim. I had the opportunity to buy some completed skirts from the Lane Bryant series of businesses. Lane Bryant, Woman Within and Just My Size are some of their mini-companies with skirts manufactured by "MainStreet Blues" Corp. in Pakistan and/or India. The skirts I bought recently came in Chambray and light Twill, but were also available thru the same Lane Bryant Companies in heavy twill and denim like "Levi's or Lee's" quality Jeans are manufactured.

The ones that I bought came with built in 12" long vertical slits in the center, rear bottom of the skirts. The cotton lightweight twill were on sale in "white" only for a mere $6.99 per skirt. These skirts came with 3 pockets, 2 side seam pockets with a longggg "comb or brush" pocket within one of them. The side seam pockets are very roomy with room for a large wallet or your fist inside.

I've added an 8" vertical slit to the various colored 70% twill, 30% polyester A-line scrubs skirts I've bought from Princess Scrubs and Uniforms Company because I prefer a slit for ease of walking in straight or A-line skirts. :flower:
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.
