Rest assured that it was not intended as a slur; rather, it's a term that's more or less entered the lexicon as meaning "less than sophisticated", or, worse, when it comes to the gals, (how do I put this politely?) "Cheap". Methinks it may be a term I need to retire from usage. Thanks for the correction.
