Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
White is the current color of my yard. It is not caused by snow.
It is from a sleet storm that came raging through my area.
North Texas is not prepared for this kind of severe weather.
As of this writing, it is 16°F and the wind chill is -4°F
The weather guessers think this stuff will be gone by noon on Sunday.
Time will tell. In any case, I'm staying home and warm. At 75 years
of age, I don't have to be out in this "stuff"

We have flooded roads and fields, coastal damage from high tides and rough seas. Rivers are over flowing and we have missing people due to the rough weather. I’ve got snow tyres on my car that also help when driving in roads that are like rivers. But if we didn’t have the seasons we’d have problems. The reservoirs are now full so come spring we won’t have a hosepipe ban or be asked to reduce our use of water.
Down here in southern Oz, today is expected to be a bearable 33C, tomorrow 44C, yesterday the Oz Open was stopped for awhile due to smoke from bushfires, and Saturday play was stopped on the outside courts due to the heat rule, again over 40C.
