Re: Above the knee or below the knee!
hi sarongman, i understand. in other cultures, it is/was different. i saw the lunghi in india worn as a miniskirt, except for when i wanted to take a photo, then they lowered it. when i said that phrase about the miniskirts, i was mostly thinking of noblemen or merchants in europe prior to the 19th ...

Re: His Black Dress is now on YouTube! - Your Opinions Wante
dear mr spookshow, i am a long-time admirer of your style and i agree also with your thoughts on gender. this is, btw, fully compatible with academic gender studies, and it is good to spread the word. beside the theory and practice of the biased gender perception of the majority -- you are looking g...

Re: Above the knee or below the knee!
observing myself in the mirror, i think that kilt length, slightly above the knee, is perfect for me -- and a kilt/skirt with its A-form and space for movements is best anyway; below the knee can be ok, but it is more difficult for me. the ankle-long sarong is comfortable at home, but so far i never...

Re: What do you wear on your legs with skirts

Re: Men Wearing Nail Polish
i actually like to have colours on my nails and i paint the toenails in darkblue colour and the handnails in clear nail polish. that is, i don't make it too obvious, but i don't hide my hands and feet. i think that it does not bother anybody after having contemplated my shoes, tights, and skirt :-) ...

Re: Kilted cyclist
hi martin
@sqlab saddles: i was convinced of those saddles after 50m of riding, and i am still. same experience for my son.
i am rarely enthusiastic, however, in this case: i do like these saddles.
best wishes, ralf

Re: Kilted cyclist
hi folks, i am riding my mountain bike daily with kilts, there is no problem whatsoever except that for aerodynamics i think biker's lycra pants are better. however, for going to the office or to town, it looks great. a kilt is too short to get into the back wheel -- with a tall person on a 26inch-m...
