Re: Skirts, tights, dresses and masculinity

At the end of the day, it all depends on where you happen to live, and if the environment is conducive to the sort of open mindedness that allows for people to live and let live. And, most of all, dress the way you see fit, NOT how society and least of all how the government wants you to dress. In ...

Re: Kristi Noem's husband

It's also fair to say that anyone with power has something in their life to be publicly hanged with. It's one of the job qualifications. Here in the USA, one can be in the Epstein files a million times and remain in a position of power. Sure, some condemn, but others respond that the condemnation i...

Re: Closing Window of Opportunity

There is an inherent difference between men and women but rather than use the difference to drive us apart we should do the opposite and bring people together. Government's should think about that. BM, This goes way beyond simple government policy, it's deep seated societal attitude that is at issu...

Re: Closing Window of Opportunity

I think, a society, which is open to LGBTQIA+ would also easier accept MIS as normal. I also don't want to be labeled, but if it had to be one, 'weird' would be a reasonable choice... The group that is the source of the stereotypes and labels that scares guys out of skirts? I believe that the main ...

Re: Sequin Skirt?

I like the sequined skirt mouse, skirts like that give a little fizz of happiness. Maybe in the summer you could pair it with a shirt and some pumps (plimsols). Just a thought? I am secretly a fan of sequins Mouse, probably from my Nan who was a proper east end girl and a pearly queen before the war...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

A few years ago, I found myself at an outdoor midsummer village feast in southern France, seated at one of the long tables next to a local woman. To my slight discomfort, she adopted a somewhat disapproving tone in enquiring about this foreigner in a skirt. I was able to reply that it was actually ...

Re: Skirts, tights, dresses and masculinity

One of the recent occurrences has been the elimination of transgender and gender non-conforming folks from the military including members of the armed services with exemplary service records. This demonstrates a strong disdain for gender non-conformant individuals, which is how society views men in...

Re: Ask AI

AI is what most on here want. A utopian view of normality and unremarkableness. Uninhibited choice for both men and women. Back in the real world, men feel they have too much to lose. Change is happening too slowly to expect this in my lifetime. Not exactly utopian, AI predicts "ordinariness.....

brionacmkw wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2026 7:32 pm I don't think most men even think of skirts as an option due to social conditioning. I'm not sure exactly how we get to the place where it is fully accepted. Representation is important so of course the more it is seen in the public eye the better
That's why it's important that we get out there.

Re: Ask AI

Men are too scared to try it.
Looking at it another way, if you are bold and go out there yourself, you are a highly individual guy doing something that most other men haven't got the nerve to do themselves.
