Re: Nordstroms

I just picked up a skirt from Nordstrom. It was not from their gender inclusive line though. The pockets are functional, and can hold phone, keys, and wallet :)

Re: Adidas Gender Neutral Skirt

I've got one. Been a bit hectic so I've only worn it out once so far but it seems decent. The pockets are nice.

Re: Is this a gender neutral skirt?

I ordered this Adidas skirt and got it last night. It’s actually split down the left side, and has a strap with two hooks to decide the fit. I got it in a medium and I like the fit better then another Adidas skirt I got recently in XL. The pockets are big enough to fit my phone and overall it seems ...

Re: high heels and half-inch-itis

Yea, I’ve worked my way up to 4” heels without much problem, and 4.5” if I’m not walking too far. Yes, thicker heels are easier :)
Sorel has wedges that are great for all day wear, and I have Adidas and Nike wedge sneakers that do not attract attention.

Re: Running Skirt

Rma: Eh, just getting back into running after illness/injury. Not going to push that hard yet ;) Nolyn: Thanks, I've really been enjoying the Vibram Fivefingers. My feet are just a bit too small to fit into the mens colors, but I am fortunate that I do like some of the womens colors. These are a bit...

Re: Running Skirt

Nolyn: Running skirts do feel quite a bit like lightweight running shorts. The material is almost not there in some shorts anyways so you are right that they are more of a style choice then practical one. Almost all running skirts have some sort of shorts built in anyways, only Nike has a plain mode...

Re: Any Barefooters?

You can try the website Birthdayshoes.com , it's a site based on barefoot/minimalist shoes. Most posts are about the Vibram fivefingers, but quite a bit are true barefoot discussions.

Re: Sports skirts

R.M.: Yea, the year I decided to try Nike Air Rifts they decided to go with flourecent colors. They also have bright green and 'vivid pink'. Although this year they are selling a more discrete blue. One nice thing about being down here is that bright colors are more then accepted in beach communitie...

Re: Sports skirts

Ok, tried about a mile and a half jog in a nature trail wearing the Under Armour skirt. The lighter material is nice, but it kinda feels a little bit too short for public consumption. Although, it does not look shorter then the others I have the light material gives you almost zero feedback as to wh...

Re: Sports skirts

Zizkov: I think thats the issue I have with the blue shirt/skirt I posted. It is a bit too much for public wear right now. I still get nervous and axious about jogging in much more conservative outfits.

Re: Sports skirts

Quick stop home before heading off for emergency job in Miami. South beach should be a safe place to go for a jog in the new Under Armor skirt. A very quick test jog let me know this one will be comfortable when it gets hot here, although no feeling of attached shorts mixed with lighter weight mater...

Re: Sports skirts

Found a UA 'training' skirt without attached shorts/brief at a Marshalls for $15. Its darker blue, so not too femm a color, and made with a nice lycra blend. Now I need to track down something like a speedo to wear under it. Should be comfortable, will let you know. R.M.: those look nice. Usually pr...

Re: do you wear tights or not

I tried tights the other day. It was a bit warm out so I took them off soon after taking a pic. Gotta say, the look was better then fuzzy legs, but at 80f it was a bit too warm. Oh well, I'll figure out a style I'm happy with soon. This denim skirt was quite comfie. http://rockpup.net/skirt/jsl1.jpg...

Re: Sports skirts

Here is a shot of the purpleish/blueish nike jogging skirt I've got. I'm not really happy with the top though, so usually wear something looser, or a jacket since it's been a bit chilly. http://rockpup.net/skirt/bjs-sc.jpg I did try an Adidas MC M10 jogging skort this weekend. I got it for only $10,...

Re: Sports skirts

R.M.: Thanks. Have dropped about 10#, so am at least 5 less then those pics. Am hoping to get my tummy back in control and maybe in the 150s. Doubt I'll ever fit in a size 1 skirt like I did back in highschool.
