Fun article in UK press!

http://www.neatephoto.co.uk/cafe/Dishes_sm.jpg Look at the way the apron is hanging - I'm sure he's wearing a dress or full skirt underneath! The article is in today's Times (of London, UK). A version of the article, "If you want more sex, do the dishes", is at http://women.timesonline.co...

The odd thing about his gait is that he is hardly using his arms at all as he walks along in those heels! In every picture his arms are hanging down as if they were dead and floppy. No way is he a 'natural' in heels. Some coaching should help him though. As others have said, the whole thing is clear...

Further up this thread RichardA posted a link to a thobe - a long loose tunic-like garment. I googled that word and discovered it is the standard menswear in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. It is ideal for those hot dry countries as it keeps the sun off but allows plenty of air circulation. According to ...

On the topic of not flashing (including flashing our 'smalls'), the Old Navy skirt in JeffB's original posting bothers me a little. The length may be OK, but that slit in the front of the skirt goes halfway up! What happens when one sits down -- say outside a café or on public transport? All skirts ...

The new board is fine, and if it's free that's even better. But the formatting needs attention where it goes haywire -- e.g. http://www.skirtcafe.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9496&start=15 http://www.skirtcafe.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9508 It wouldn't accept my password so I had to use the "...

If someone at you church is complaining about clothes made of leather (whether nappa or whatever), you could politely suggest to your vicar/priest that he refers them to Genesis 3 verse 21. The very very first clothes were tunics (dresses) or skirts made of animal skins!! And it was God who provided...

Long skirt on eBay

A men's long skirt is being auctioned on eBay. Brand new, size large (too big for me). It ends Thursday and at present is at £1.30 (1.83 Eur) - item 140080400918.

Please define... Skip, In the context of how open or how cautious we are in wearing our kilts/skirts, I would define "most people" to mean most of the people we typically come into contact with in the course of our day-to-day living. ("Contact" to include all those people who se...

Sorry for all the poll options... I take it that "kilts/MUGs" (Male Unbifurcated Garments) covers traditional and modern kilt and kilt-like garments that do not look to most people as having been made for women to wear. And in contrast, "skirts" covers the garments most people w...

A big thank you to WSmac and you who PM'd me. The purchase is progressing with the first volunteer, so (fingers crossed) it will work out smoothly. I much appreciate the kindness of you all in offering assistance.

I'll let you know when the kilt arrives!

H2 buy a Mountain Kilt

For a while I have been thinking of buying a Mountain Kilt (by Mountain Hardwear) as they are well recommended by the cafe patrons and keep popping up in the threads (eg Mountain Kilt ) -- but no-one sells them. At least no-one in the UK! I contacted TravelCountry.com in Orlando but their charge to ...

Dennis, that is so dreadful. And such an indictment of society. It reminded me of Skip's post in the thread: Schools 'too feminine for boys'. Skip described a society that was much more humane and tolerant than our modern world generally is, where boys who did not fit the 'warrior' mould/mold were f...
