Re: Sad News

I’m stunned by this news; shocked, like others. Carl has been the rudder for our MIS ship for so many years, leading from the front with his fabulous outfits. His dry humour, powerful intelligence and humanity were all tangibly present. Damn you, Carl. You went too soon. There’s a big hole in this c...

Re: A song about A Man in a Skirt on Spotify

I’d also try the following

Androgynous by the Crash Test Dummies
Molly by Carrie
Welcome to the cheap seats by The Wonder Stuff.
What it feels like for a girl by Madonna (more an exploration of why society can look down on men in skirts)

All great songs.

Well, I like them!

Re: Kilt skirt for men

Try 21st century kilts

An awesome choice of non tartan kilts.

I’m going to a wedding today. I’ll be in my three piece non tartan kilt suit from the above source. Can’t wait!

Re: America - 250 years

Gee, that wasn't political now was it? One thing that wasn't mentioned, where tartan came from, in any sense of the word. Steve. Huh? Given that a kilt is a garment inextricably linked to Scotland, I’m guessing that Stevie is alluding to the fact that there’s probably no mention of this history in ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Not a skirt sighting, but a kilt one. On a ski slope. I’m just back from skiing in Courmayeur in Italy. At a bar, an older gentleman with a great beard rocked up in a kilt. That’s not really worth mentioning. What IS worth mentioning was that he was in the same kilt as he whizzed down a blue run the...

Re: Tights for Men

Sheertex are good and pretty robust. I’ve got a pair in 30 denier. They have a hole in the sole after about 20 wearings but that’s it - and there are no runs. I’ve supported men’s tights over the years but I’ll not continue buying if the quality is not there. Steve Lieberman was a pioneer in this re...

The commentary above provides context to the subject matter. I don’t have a problem with it.

At the moment it’s VERY difficult to avoid the evilness, bullying, threats and repugnant comments that are threatening the globe. I’ll try my best, but these are very disturbing times.
