Now if they would only bring out their #8065 twin-strap sandal in size 46 (approx.12-UK), something
I have passionately wanted for years.
And they even have a male looking model there too, nice. Some manufacturers sell them as unisex - Duckfeet, I think Birkenstock did at one time (or still do).

Moose I love your look with the boots and latex leggings. Can I ask where did you get the boots?

Thank you stephanie53. The boots are made by Pleaser Shoes https://pleasershoes.com. The actual boots are the Adore-1020 style. This is a standard 7" heel, 2 3/4" platform boot, which they do in a range of colours. The ones I have are a few years old, the are graded blue on black sole. There are 31 colour ways on the site currently to chose from, this one is all blue https://pleasershoes.com/products/adore-1020ryblm.

Pleaser make a wide range of shoes for all types of humans. I am fortunate and have feet that fit into the top of the standard range. They also make a range of shoes for larger feet in similar styles called Pleaser Pink Label

I have a number of high heels from various manufactures. The Pleaser boots I have are my favourite due to the engineering of the sole. If you look at the picture you will notice that the heel and platform is all one piece. This means that as you walk, the heel is solid and doesn't move in relation to the platform, which gives you confidence in your walk.

To get this thread back onto subject, I bought a cheap pair of Mary Jane shoes on eBay, to try the look with my style.....🤠

I know they are not as flat as the fashion, but I am dealing with my own style rules....🤠

Not very comfortable and the buckles are fake. They came separate in a bag, so you can fit them yourself to the velcro strap. You get what you pay for in shoes, but are OK to try a look out.

Stephanie53, did you buy a pair? How did they work? Any pictures? No pressure🤠

I ran into a bit of a problem recently. DM sent me a notice of a sale where a pair of brown Mary Janes were marked down.....It was one of those sales where there is a counting down clock to the end of the sale.....It was 8 hours when I read the email......My size was still available.....I was on site 8 hours later when I again thought of them.....34 min to the end of the sale.....I am weak.....

I received a shoebox in the mail today, they are substantial and not flat by any means. Pictures to follow.

So, I have bought another pair of Mary Janes for working in the summer, so I can change the look from the Birkenstocks, depending on the day's job sites.

What do the team think? Working shoes? They were on offer....! They are quite substantial for Mary Jane shoes. Yes I am standing on the track in the deck.

Those seem like a sound purchase, Mouse.
They should be comfortable to wear right through your working day.

AirWair soles with 3 3/4 inch high heels with the front about 1 inch high.
On the Dr. Martens website, the Dark Brown, Eviee gets great customer reviews.
It would appear that the the shoes have only become available in dark brown more recently?
There are a lot more reviews for the same Eviee shoes in black leather.

So the new Mary Janes have been to work twice. The first day was mainly in one address, but I did have to climb a step ladder in 3" heels, not ideal, but I managed it. The next working day was in South Kensington, so a tube journey then quite a walk. New DMs require some respect, but I had no trouble with these and my feet were fine. My speed of walking was slightly slower than normal, but I could easily keep up.
So I can use these for my work. Yes they make the day slightly harder, so why would I use them. I guess because they make me feel special and different. Sometimes that is worth something in a day.

So if you want a set of chunky Mary Janes with a DM twist and some heels, then here you go. They are available in this brown and also black.

What I looked like at the end of the day when I got back to Cockfosters Tube station.

Vans "Premium 93 Mary Janes" go up to men's 11.5 or women's 13,
according to their listing in Pinterest.
(I know, Pinterest can be misleading and frustrating.)

Vans' own OTW site lists these Mary Janes all the way up to men's 13.
The problem is they're all on "notify me" status, which means they're
either out of stock or not yet available. Vans is strictly an athletic casual
shoe, but their "Old Skool" skateboard variety is extremely popular, with
males and females (and whatevers). Judging from the high schoolers I see
every day, Vans are replacing Nikes. I have 2 pair Vans. They look good with
my skirts and my leggings. Yes, I would wear the checkered shoes!
